They are also suitable for use with cable joints or as additional corrosion protection on undamaged cables. 3M™ wraparound heat shrink cable repair Sleeves help provide maximum protection against mechanical stress, even in the most aggressive environments. Coated with hot melt adhesive, the inner wall of the sleeve is able to achieve a safe and water-tight bond with the cable, providing a perfect seal when heat is applied. A corrosion -proof metal clip is used to fully close the sleeve.
