3M Scotchlok 40000 1-hole compression lug is suitable for use on copper or aluminum conductors. The lug has a standard barrel that ensures a secure fit. Aluminum construction offers high conductivity and an electro tin-plated finish resists corrosion. It is rated for 35 kV voltage applications. 3M Scotchlok 40000 1-hole compression lug has color-coded end caps for easy identification. The standard barrel ensures a secure fit and offers reliable performance. It has chamfered ends that enable fast, simple conductor insertion. The antioxidant material inside the lug barrel facilitates clean conductor-to-lug contact. The contact aid in the lug barrel is compatible with poly/EPR insulations. It withstands a maximum temperature of 221 deg F (105 deg C).
