tax exemption certificate on file with Carlton-Bates Company to avoid state
sales tax charges. Sales tax will always be charged unless otherwise indicated.
Unless otherwise quoted, all shipments are F.O.B. our warehouses
and invoices are net, end of month.
Orders Placed Under $25.00 are subject to a $5.00 handling fee.

Merchandise not listed on this web site, if available from our
regular suppliers, may be subject to minimum order quantities and/or special
handling charges. Shipment is made as quickly as deliveries are received from
our source. Special order products are sold on a non-returnable basis.
All U.S. shipments are F.O.B. shipping point. In all cases the
title shall pass when the carrier accepts the material for shipment. Therefore,
all risk of loss or damage shall be incumbent upon the
customer. Carlton-Bates Company and shipper handling charges may be
applied to order. Door-to-door, Door-to-Airport or Next Day Air freight is
available F.O.B. shipping point. All of the above terms are in effect unless
otherwise stated in writing.
Merchandise is carefully packed by our suppliers in compliance with
carrier requirements. Claims for loss or damage in transit must be made with
the carrier by the customer. All shipments should be unpacked and inspected
immediately upon receipt. If damage does not become apparent until shipment is
unpacked, make a request for inspection by the carrier's agent. Failure to do
this will result in the carrier refusing to honor the claim. For your
protection, our billings include insurance for damage or loss in transit.
Because of the volatile price fluctuation of precious metals used
in many electronic devices, a surcharge may apply on selected products.
Returns must be made promptly and accompanied by a Return Authorization.
Authorization may be obtained from the Carlton-Bates Company branch in your
area. Returns may be subject to a restocking fee. In order to return a product
to Carlton-Bates Company please follow the steps below.
Call 1-501-235-4259 (1-800-482-9313) and ask for an RMA number. In
order to receive credit, your RMA number must be returned with the product. You
will be given the return address for the Carlton-Bates Company RMA
department. Return freight charges are to be pre-paid. Returnable product must
be in the original packaging and in resalable condition. The return cannot
exceed 30 days of the original invoice date. If product proves defective, it
may be returned within 60 days of the original invoice date. Customer order
errors are subject to re-stocking fees. Non-cancelable, non-returnable
"Specials" are not returnable to CBC.

Since Carlton-Bates Company cannot control the use of its products,
there are no express warranties that extend beyond the description contained
herein. Carlton-Bates Company disclaims any implied warranties of
merchantability or of fitness for any particular purpose. Since Carlton-Bates
Company cannot control the manner or use of its product after the sale, it will
not be responsible for any consequential or indirect damages. Since
Carlton-Bates Company is only acting as a distributor of products manufactured
by other companies, it expressly limits its liabilities to any guarantees
extended by the manufacturer. Carlton-Bates Company will pass these guarantees
through to the customer. No warranty will apply if its products are in any way
