Carlton-Bates Company Wins Four NEDA Channel Marketing Awards

November 13, 2008 (Chicago) – Carlton-Bates Company, a subsidiary of WESCO Distribution, Inc., is pleased to announce that it earned four Channel Marketing Awards from the National Electronic Distributors Association (NEDA) based on the creativity and effectiveness of its marketing communications.

The awards were presented at the 2008 NEDA Executive Conference in Chicago on Nov. 3. Carlton-Bates received four Gold Awards for image advertising, industry advocacy, integrated marketing campaigns, and a corporate brochure.

WESCO Distribution, Inc., Authorized to Distribute Honeywell Sensing and Control Products

July 28, 2008 (Pittsburgh, PA) - WESCO Distribution, Inc., is now authorized to distribute Honeywell Sensing and Control products. This partnership represents an expansion of Honeywell’s long-term relationship with Carlton-Bates Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of WESCO Distribution, Inc., and leverages the strong presence of both WESCO and Honeywell in the industrial trade.

WESCO and Honeywell will launch a sales engagement initiative to introduce Honeywell’s products to WESCO’s sales team. Twenty-one WESCO branches will participate in the first phase of the launch due to their heavy industrial and control product mix. Additionally, several key national accounts have been selected that are supported by those branches.

Carlton-Bates Marketing Materials Win Top Electronic Distributors Awards

February 28, 2008 (Little Rock, AR) – Carlton-Bates Company (CBC) of Little Rock received four awards from National Electronic Distributors Association (NEDA) in its 2007 Channel Marketing Awards competition for print advertising and support materials. The company also received high honors from Honeywell Sensing and Control at their annual sales meeting in January.

CBC received a Platinum Excellence and Gold Achievement award in the full-page co-op ad category, a gold award in the industry advocacy category and a gold award in the corporate line card category. The gold award for full-page co-op advertising was earned for a print ad developed in partnership with IDEC to promote their MicroSmart PLC. This year’s awards were announced at the NEDA Executive Conference in Chicago in early November.

Honeywell awarded Carlton-Bates with the 2007 Outstanding Achievement for Innovative Marketing Communications for the summer 2007 Honeywell Hobbs Surface Transportation Campaign.
