Inside Sales Representative (two open positions)

Carlton-Bates is currently accepting applications for Inside Sales Representatives in our Cedarburg market. Inside Sales Representatives will be responsible for generating revenue and profit margin with a telephonic inbound/outbound sales role. The successful candidate will manage the activity associated with a list of assigned accounts, including reporting customer sales activity and issues to field sales, Inside Sales Leaders and Regional Sales Leaders. He or she will also provide ongoing service and support to assigned and overflow accounts.

Field Sales Representative (two open positions)

Carlton-Bates is currently accepting applications for Field Sales Representatives in our Tulsa and Greenbay market. Field Sales Representatives will be responsible for generating revenue and profit margin in their accounts and territories. The successful candidates' general focus will be on local market accounts and prospects. He or she will be responsible for a limited number of key accounts and/or named accounts as well as meeting or exceeding territory goals including sales, gross profit, new customer growth and customer savings. At all times, the Field Sales Representative will seek out ways to add value to current and potential customers of Carlton-Bates Company.

New Market Development Field Sales Representative (three open positions)

Carlton-Bates is currently accepting applications for a New Market Development Field Sales Representative in Oregon, Iowa, and Alabama. The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for all sales, new business development, and account management with assigned accounts or regions to support Carlton-Bates in achieving its revenue and profitability goals. He or she will manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

Inside Sales Leader (two open positions)

Carlton-Bates is currently accepting applications for an Inside Sales Leader in our St. Louis and Cedarburg market. Inside Sales Leaders will be responsible for revenue generation through exceeding projected product and services sales, margin, and operating income quotas. The successful candidate's general focus is current and potential customers within a defined geographic market. Primary function is to lead and manage Inside/Field Sales Professionals and support staff.

  • Responsible for hiring, training, and daily monitoring of employee performance, discipline and or termination of employees when appropriate within assigned area.
  • Supervise sales professional's pricing and price negotiation and monitor the customer sale from the order entry process through delivery within CBC guidelines.
  • Spend significant portion of work week in front of  customers with a CBC salesperson:  training, coaching, evaluating and driving opportunities.
  • Position requires strong skills in written and verbal communication, diplomacy, organization, prioritization and problem-solving.
  • Solid computer, mathematical and analytical abilities and thorough knowledge of working with operating statements, sales reports and customer relations management system required.
  • Strong customer relationships and contacts critical. Supplier relationships a plus.
